- Patient overview
A 31-year-old male presented with a one-year history of intermittent left knee pain and swelling, associated with difficulty waking. The symptoms commenced following a traumatic injury sustained while playing football.

The pain remits for a while then recurs during sport activities. Otherwise the patient has no chronic illness or other problem

- Physical exam
GA:- comfortable
V/S:-  normal range
P/E:- No pertinent finding

- Investigation
Left Knee MRI :- Severe left knee joint effusion
- Complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)
- Partial tear of Posterterior cruciate ligament (PCL)
- Mild sprain of the medial collateral ligament ( MCL)
- Lateral patellar subluxation

- Diagnosis
Left ACL tear

- Post op The patient has smooth course
